TONY STEWART RACING RIDER ERIC SAUNDERS NOTCHES FOUR PODIUM FINISHES IN TWO EVENTS

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (July 10, 2007) – Eric Saunders, the fourteen year-old motocross phenom from the Tony Stewart Racing stables, once again earned a pair of podium finishes during the hotly contested Red Bud Pro Nationals in Buchanan, MI, and upped the ante at last weekend’s Moto Land “Outlaw Nationals” as he pulled double duty in both the Supermini and 125cc Youth divisions.  

At Redbud, overcame early obstacles in the first Supermini moto to finish fourth and jumped ahead to 2nd in the second moto, earning a 2nd place overall ranking.  Eric repeated with a second overall ranking in the ultra-competitive 125cc Youth division after notching first and runner-up honors in the two motos.

The Hoosier native bolstered his standings with a pair of first place overall rankings in both divisions after back-to-back thrilling performances at the “Outlaw Nationals”  at Moto Land in nearby Kingsbury, IN.

The Tony Stewart/Eric Saunders Racing MX Team will return to Moto Land next weekend for Round #1 of the State Race and are anxiously awaiting the Ponca City Nationals on July 23-28.
